Resonance/Reverberation

Hi, I own a B200cdi SE with "Sports Pack". Like in the post from Tristan5, I too get a vibration through the gas pedal at low speeds. But I also get this resonance/reverberation as well. It almost sounds like the exhaust is blowing, but its not. Its been back to M/B twice now and they cannot find anything wrong with it.

Anybody else with this issue? or indeed any ideas??

Ross.

Don't appear to get it on my B200 CDI with sports pack but judging by posts going back to the start of the B Class Forum it appears to be a common problem.

I have found that the sports pack does tend to make for quite a harsh ride. But you do get excellent roadholding, It's swings & roundabouts I'm afraid.

I think the problem has only been reported with the diesel engined versions.

Is it just the 200 CDI ??

Is it just on the sport pack equiped vehicles ??

Perhaps affected members could post with their vehicle configuration in order that a pattern may emerge & possibly a solution can then be found.

kdbcom, thanks for your comments. It would be good to know if there was a common denominater to all of this. Maybe its the sports pack? You're right though, there is a trade off to be made, but I wanted the better handling.

Oh well it goes back in to another dealer this Thursday. I'll post the outcome.

Cheers.

Look up my complaint under "B Class" and "Vibration Problem".
