For opinions & problems I suggest that you take an hour or so going through the previous posts. It's a nice car but it does have it's problems in various areas.

Cool Great Car

I love this car. It is a fun to drive safe and reliable I had no problems at all done 30000km almost runs great. Just few simple small problems fixed at the dealer.

Great consumption and love the Harman Kardon sound system with Cd changer, Sunroof like a cabrio size, power heated seats great for canadian winter specially now cant be without it, CVT, airbags all around it and has great visibility.

I have B200 Turbo it is relax and pleasure to drive. Drives like a sports car.

At night the headlights shine like a daylight.

Great Cargo capacity
Great space for passangers sitting in the back seats.

I am coming spoiled from Volvo seats and the seats in Mercedes are really good gives you great support and comfort for long drives.

Also agree, 7000 miles no problems with 200SE (Auto). Bought from excellent dealer, (Rycrofts, Stockton in NE England).

I expect that sunroof gives the interior a really light & airy feel and with the silver paint work I would imagine you had no problems with the hot sun last year. Mine (black) was like an oven when opening it up on a hot day plus the black does tend to look dirty very quickly, a point to bear in mind when buying.

Yes do you know if you hold the key button down it opens all the windows when you get into the car .
I also opted for climate control as i like cool air on my face even in the winter previos mercs this was standard but they decided to take it out inthe last 3 years probably to save money

if you hold the button all windows (and sunroof if there is) opens - very nice option if you want to ventilate the interior

kdbcom, black cars heat up very quickly but they look much better (sorry guys with bright cars). basic air conditioning is efficient enough so i had no problem even when car stood for a long time in sun

Hi,

Would definitely recommend the B200T, it is my wifes car and she really enjoys it. Previously she drove a Subaru Impreza STI and is much happier with the ride of the Merc. Not as harsh although not quite as quick either. Overall very happy.

I would highly recommend the model too.

I have a few KM over 30 000, and since now I had no major problems with my B180 CDI with manual gearbox. That is awesome, IF we keep in our mind that i live in Romania, which has the roads very very poor, with lots of holes. Moreover, I used her mostly INSIDE city, using only 1, 2, and 3rd gears. Rarely did I stepped outside for a breath of 5 or 6th gears.
If you have a bigger piggy bank than I had, make sure you apply for the B200 with 140HP instead of 110 which the B180 has.

PS: People are you sure the windows can be opened by the key from outside? I cannot do that, is it beacuse I do not have all the 4 windows powered option? My rear windows are manual, I wonder if there's any relation between the 4 power windows option and this key-opening.
