People are saying anything at 4" or longer should be fine. I can't decide if I should get the 1.5" one or the 2.5" one. Help me decide.

I purchased it directly through Brabus, you should be able to find your nearest Brabus distributor on their website: www.brabus.com

To the best of my knowledge the aerial is made from some sort of formed plastic/polymer. Reception is great, no probems on any frequency.

Regards

Sebl

Just checked with Brabus and the part number is 16995000, it is seperate to the B class kit. However Brabus said that it will not work with the Audio 5 system and only works with the Sat Nav Command APS. I am not sure why.

Maybe somebody out there knows the answer.

Best Regards

Seb.

One more question. Where is the receiver for the remote entry? Is it on the roof antenna too or somewhere else?

BTW, I find some 1.5" antenna similiar to Brabus's if anyone is interested. I just don't know the difference between these three. Google translation didn't help much..

On SharkFinAntenna's website they don't list the B Class! So I emailed them to ask if they can do them. They responded saying unfortunately the base of the antenna on the B class is too big fo their antenna to fit over...

Its a pity, as they do look nice.

I got the same response from them too. Too bad.. saved $70 for something else..

I think I'll end up getting a 1.5" Brabus type antenna.. will look like a Dolphin fin which doesn't look too bad either.
