Do you need to modify/cut existing wire that might void the warranty? I might be interested if I can find a reliable installer in Vancouver.

i might get mine done with a shop in richmond, they seem know what to do with mercedes cars, and it's about 400 bucks... a little cheaper than anthony's shop charged. will get you the # after i got mine done.

When are you planning to get yours installed? Any chance of group discount if we go together? I also know a shop in Richmond that specialize in installing aftermarket stuff on German car. Is it on No. 5 road?

Thanks again Anthony!
As you can see Anthony, we're like sponges right now, taking in all the comments and considering the pro's and con's.

I will be getting mine done this friday. yes it's on #5 rd and bridgeport. the guy does electrical and audio for living, but he doesn't own the shop, he just borrows the shop and doing it there. but he does provide 1 yr warranty on the bulb and the ballast. i trusted him cause he did some jobs for my co worker before, and he seem pretty good at it. and it's cheaper than other shops i've asked around. PM me if you need more details.

Hey so today I was putting my H7 Silverstar Ultra's into my high beams that I used to have in my lows. BTW after changing a few of the bulbs (rear brake light, lows, fogs) the highs where the hardest to change and I couldn't use the method in the manual. They wouldn't turn at all, I could just pull them out and push them back into the socket. ?? Anyways while changing them I noticed on the top of the headlight housing bulb type markings overs the lows and highs. The highs read "H7" and the lows were "H7 or D1S". I recognized the D1S after doing the HID research now as being an HID bulb type, does that mean the projector was meant to take either an H7 or D1S?
