I need some help finding a part number... - Benzworld.org

If there are any B-classers out there with access to a catalog which supports the B, or one who just happens to have the number handy, I need to find a part number for the *silver* locking nobs that pop up when the car is unlocked. Any help would be much appreciated.

I dont have a part number for the button, you need to speak to mb parts dept .

but all b classes should have silver pop up buttons as standard ,my first b class reg in sep 05 had the buttons but my replacment car didnt reg june 06,when i said to the dealer about the missing buttons i just got a dumb look from the service dept which really sums up mb service (i think mb are starting to cost cut on the car .) sad really

You will also note that it no longer has an inline phone system compensator nor does it have a Bluetooth antenna in the rear roof lining.

I noticed a B170 one of my colleagues drive, from 2005 has the Chrome-coated plastic ones, but it could be paired with his cream colored leather interior. My 180 CDI with black textile interior has the black knobs.

Sorry to upset the applecart but my black B2000 cdi sport has chrome buttons
( but it was an early model)

Same here my b class cdi se reg 05 had black interior and silver buttons ,but my 06 didnt.
i think there was a change cbout jan/feb with the buttons ,you might also notice the cars with silver buttons had dunlop tyres the ones without have michelin tyres ,just something i had notivced dont think tyre type will make a differance to the car ..
