Front Passenger seat removal

Has any one had experience in taking out the front seats on a B Class

The reason I ask is that my wife is disabled and had a fall 3 months ago and broke her hip

It is virtually impossible for her to get into the car with the M/B seats

I have obtained an Elap rotating seat which will be bolted onto the 4 (floor mounted) seat bolts after removing the front seat.

My queery is regarding the liklelyhood of any alarms sounding in the car whilst I am driving

I realize that the front passenger side airbag may be disabled if the standard M/B seat is removed

M/B have been rather negative in their responses to questions regarding this and the specialist seat manufacturer Elap have stated that they think there is some form of sensor fitted to all newish Mercedes cars that prevents them from supplying suitable seat conversions.

Any tech help or advice would be appreciated as if I can't get the wife in the car it (or the wife) are going to have to go
