Bi-Xenon Headlamps & Driving in Europe

Just bought a B Class with Bi-Xenon headlamps
Does anyone have any experience in adjusting them for driving in Europe (ie so they dip to the right instead of the left)

The dealer I bought the car from said you just need to throw over a switch

The manual & Mercedes UK say take to a dealer to adjust (How can you do that on departing the ferry at midnight ??)

Any info would be appreciated

Keith

Re above picture

The switch you operate is listed as 7 in left hand picture

Have not tried it yet but whe we get some decent weather I will go out and test it.

No Joy

I've looked inside the headlights but can't see the switch or lever.

Took car to local M/B dealer, mechanic said the lever was right at the back but he could not get his large hands to it. I also tried in the position that he had said & I could not find it either.

M/B say it is there but no one can seem to locate it.

Customer relations rang up asking if I was happy with the work done on my visit I told him of the problem, he said he would look into it.

Looks like I shall be using headlight convertors again this year.

If you search my posts you will find great debate on this subject on the SLK (R171) forum. The lever is there you just have to feel for it. Once you find it you will be able to change the light pattern with no difficulty.
