When I used the MB Canada car configurator, my setup would cost about CAD$ 49,500. So you mean the B200 Turbo would cost something like CAD$ 58,000 after taxes?
Over here, I'm paying something like CAD$ 65,000 and the only country I can think of that's more expensive is Singapore.
I am not Canadian but...depending on your location it is in fact 7% to 15%. And it's no coincidence that the wealthiest jurisdiction in Canada (Alberta) has the lowest taxes (the 7% - all Federal).
Its a bit higher than the US but still reasonable. Just realized that over here, for cars imported from Europe, I think we have to pay around 40% in taxes & other govt fees *sigh*
