My wife got a B170 with Sport package and the new panorama lamel sunroof, automatic tranny and a lot og other "goodies". We only got about 2.000 km on the car but it is absolutly sweet and of a different class than the old generation A-class. The car got 17" wheels which rides quite good.
My wife would not change it for her old 02 C32T AMG (don't ask) in a million years.
I will post pictures when I have washed it...

Tell me, how do you feel in it? Like a Japaneese car or do you sincerly feel that you are riding a Mercedes-Benz car?
I have a 190E. Even at 20 years old you feel how strong the body is made and how agreable it is on the road. You know what I mean...
[:o)] Uncle Benz you ain't gonna keep the old 190 for ever RU - It ain't getting no younger, go out and treat yerself to a test drive in (preferably) a B200CDI - SE - YOU AIN'T GONNA BELIEVE IT POPA - things sure have come a long way - and I know as had an early 190 then a 190E then C180 and 420SE
Its that good (the B200CDi) the I WANT ONE ! and have ordered for del asap........ can't wait, can't sleep .......
ps what's the B170 like to drive ? auto ? mpg ? did you try a diesel ?
It feels like a Benz - the canadian spec gas engines actually pull pretty nicely - you don't get the push in your seat accel that a 6 has - but you hit passing speed pretty well - for a fairly tall machine, it still corners OK - not up to a lot of pure performance cars, but better than most US models
With the success of the Smart CDI - I am really surprised the CDI was not offered
Closing the doors etc is gives a mercedes sound - not a japanese sound
What I don't like:
1) only suroof in canada is the louvered style - I have been told that they do not do well in Canada since there are so many moving parts to freeze - crack leak - so I miss roof
2) except for glove box & hard pockets on the doors - there are Zero little bins / boxes what ever you wanna call them to hold the usual "stuff" that collects in a car
3) sunglass holder is beside your left ear where you would expect a grab handle - I would prefer to have it central

Just on the bins etc: the B has several small bins in the centre: both drinks holders have areas around them. The front one near the centre dashboard has space next to it, and the space itself, and it has a sliding cover, all can hold stuff. Also next to the rear drink holder further back behind the gear stick in the centre, there's also a slot next to it for other things like tickets or change. Those areas also have rubber feet, so things don't rattle around, Next to the seats - on the outside - is an "umbrella holder" which is a groove where you can put things such as a folding umbrella. You can also have a slide out drawer under the passenger seat. If you've a factory phone kit, that draw folds out from beneath the centre arm rest and there's space around it too. The sun visors have clips things behind them too for tickets / cards and things.
The glove box is pretty big too.
Because the seats can be high off the floor (there's lots of head room in the B class), there's space stuff there too.
Just put in an order today for a B200 Turbo. Looking forward to delivery.
I see that your location states you are in the Great White North.... so are they importing B's to Canada?! Are diesels available yet? This might be just one more reason to move to Canada from the US.
