Just want to hear from you guys.
I know both have totally different character but if they cost the same is hard for me to make the decision.
The B200 have more room than the Lexus and the ride height is more comfortable but Lexus got a 2.5 V6 and tons of standard acessories.
If similarly priced and specced, the only reason left you need to ask yourself is, does interior space matter alot to you?
Because if you are more into performance, the Lexus is definitely the much better choice. I also feel that the new design has much more character than the old IS (better looking than the new 3 in my opinion). But the B-class is in a class by itself at the moment. It is roomy inside yet very easy to park & navigate crowded roads. It doesn't look very striking at first, but for me, this is the type that grows slowly. Plus, as the B-class has more practical features, I think it can stay longer in your garage over time.
I was initially looking at the new 3-series and the A4 Wagon but the B-Class' comfort, space, and "coolness" factor won me over it.
The B class - no comparison. We have a Toyota wagen SUV, its great. We love it. We have bought several Toyotas. They are great cars and the new IS250 is a terrific car too.
But for traffic work, the B give you visability, handling and it goes too!
The B is a confusing car. it does too much, its difficult to decide exactly what it is. Really MB should not have made it, as it is too roomy inside for its exterior or its price. If you value the height and practical nature, the B's an easy winner.
The IS250 though is a quieter car on noisy road surfaces. You are more cossetted from what's around you. But if you like the IS250, there are some other choices to consider as well! That's not the case with the B, its a singularly unique mixture!
