So I'm going to be changing out the spark plugs on my 08 S550 this weekend. Just got the Bosch plugs the owners manual mentioned and it tells me the amount of torque that I should apply in the book but I can't find anywhere on whether I should be adding anti-seize to the thread!
Any advice from those that have gone through this?
You will get almost as many opinions as an oil thread. I do mine. I think it is important to anti-seize when threading steel plugs into aluminum heads in particular.
Changed out the plugs last weekend. Hopefully I didn't over or under tighten any of them but all seems to be running smoothly. Was a little confused when I removed Mercedes logo'd NGK's that were a different model than what was listed in the book. I went Bosch anyway though which matched the book and other posts on here so I should be good there. Thank you for all the advice!
