Evidence of Staggered Rims working great 4Matic S550

I've had these staggered rim step on contrary to popular belief on my 4matic s550 for 34k miles without any issues. I wanted to let others no this since there seems to be a giant grey area when it comes to staggered rims on any 4 wheel drive vehicle.

What size tires are you running?

I have a 2007 s550 4matic with amg package and was thinking or running NON 4 Matic 19" wheels (8.5" front , 9.5" rear)
so that I can have a more aggressive offset in the rear. I would run same size tires. 255/40/19's all around.

Wish I could put the non 4matic amg size on
255/40/19 front.
275/40/19 rear

any suggestions?

ps. the reason I want a second set of wheels similar to my stock 19's is so I have one dedicated winter set up and one summer set up

Staggered is fine on AWD cars as long as the diameter of the tires both front and rear are within 5% of factory equipment and have the same diameter. The width of the rear tires clearly needs to be raised to fit over the wheel unless u like the stretched look and bent rims.
