Floor Mats

What is the best way to protect native carpeting in S550? I have seen rubber mats on the net but I am not sure that is the bets option. Also, if you have experience with this, I would also appreciate advice on where to buy them. mbusa.com too shows rubber mats but it looks like you can not order them online..

OEM all-season mats: Beige set of four part #66680198 (for comparison shopping, parts.com $83.95), black 66680197 (86.25), and gray 66680199 (89.70)

Weathertech Floorliner Digitalfit mats are the best, full coverage ones on the market. I have never seen anything that even come close. You will have to call them and ask if they have them yet, because they haven't shown up on their website. You can get the Weathertech all-weather custom fit mats or the genuine Mercedes rubber mats for sure. Make sure to pick up a rubber/plastic trunk liner also.

Here are the all weather mats for an 07-09 S class.

I'm using velour floor mats even during the winter. They have one to cover the transmission tunnel at the rear too. For the 212 we have both rubber and velour (OEM of course).

eBay.de has a lot of after market products cheap, might not make sense to buy from the US.
