I have to admit that the CLS would be my choice for several basic reasons. The CLS is still a luxury car, but its a coupe and has that extreme sporty look. It still looks good rolling up to a business meeting but classy enough to roll up to dinner with. Then you can take her on long trips and still get through traffic with ease. It doesn't say, I'm young, or I'm old. It has a conservative look on certain angels and aggressive stance in the AMG veriation.
The S-Class is a super sweet ride but after seeing so many I would say it takes allot to make an S-Class sportier looking. The S-Class is bigger and says much more about some one driving it. The S-Class does put you in a different social playing field but the CLS puts you in that same playing field with some humble fun to it.
