HID Fog Lights HID Replacement Bulbs or Look a likes
HI
I hate how the S550 has HID headlights and yellow fog lamps. Did anybody try to change to bulbs to HID bulbs or some other bulbs that are much brighter/more blue shade?? Any recommendations???

Yellow cuts through the fog better. I do see what you mean. HID projector fogs would have been nice.
i upgraded the fogs to hid and i loove the matching look only thing is now the computer see a different current draw in the brain and now im havin problems with the headlights im guessing the circuit is seeing more of a draw in the fogs and is compensating for the headlights ...not good

I guess 25 years and an AMG badge are not enough to solve that issue
What do you mean by "compensating the headlights"? The "brains" would not alter the headlights current if the fog lights were "faulty". If your HIDs are drawing less current than the original fogs, you might want to compensate that with an additional dummy load.
I got HID's for the fog lights, they look sick, make sure you get the same K and brand for all 4 bulbs, an 8000k from one company may have a different color as an 8000k from a different company, even though you think they should be exactly the same, THEY ARE NOT. Make sure all Bulbs are made by the same manufacturer.
