Nice car of course (all MB are). The last picture made me confused with the US model setup. All S550 are supposed to be LWB and this car also looks like one. But a LWB model is supposed to have the rear seats electrically adjustable, also the right front seat should be adjustable from the rear. The last picture shows the rear right door controls and they don't seem to be "complete".
I mean this for an example: Sitzbank im Fond mit elektrisch verstellbaren Außensitzen mit
PRE-SAFE-Positionierungsfunktion für Außensitze und äußere Kopfstützen;
Sitz auf Beifahrerseite elektrisch verstellbar zusätzlich vom Fond.
Normally the US models have more standard stuff. Can anybody explain this?
PS. can you explain the uk web address for pics of a US (I assume) car?

The rear seat package on the US model is an option. If you don't select that option then the seat is fixed and the right front seat control from the rear is not available.
Many of the US options are packaged by MBUSA into Premium Packages. We do not have a complete selection of all the options listed my MB. On some models many of the options on the EU list are not even available to us.

Jus saw ur White S550 Album.. we saw that before we bought the car and that helped as it displayed all good features of teh s550 with AMG package
Neato! This reminds me of myself. I have a black S class (600) and my wife has a silver Lexus (IS250). We got both of them serviced today. No problem at all with the Benz and the Lexus has no issues except my wife complains the seat heat is wimpy. Not hot enough. I have to agree. Her heat on maximum only slightly takes the chill off of the leather seats. Kinda like the Benz setting on minimum The S class seat heat is awesome.

Congratulations on the new car. It's a beauty and I hope you have many happy motoring experiences in it. I've had our S500 (as it is known in Japan) for three months now and the honeymoon never seems to end. It is simply a wonderful car in every respect. We are taking an overnight trip this weekend to a Japanese ryokan (traditional inn) in the mountains to soak in the hot springs. Of course, the S500 will be along with us.
And my wife decided yesterday to replace her SL500 with a SL600 so we have something more to look forward to in a couple of weeks.
