Hey everyone, first post on this site. I've enjoyed reading the info. here for the past few months, and as a result, ordered a 550 designo mocha today, totally optioned out. I scoured the country and found one incoming, should have it in 2 weeks and can't wait. Originally, I was interested in the new CL AMG, and actually have a deposit on one when production begins. If it is what I expect, I may give the S to my wife when it gets here. Until then, in part based on reading info. here, the 550 got the nod over the 7 series and Continental GT. The unbiased reviews are very helpful for people like myself, thanks to all, including the great pics.

congrats! I wish I could afford both an S and a CL. You have great taste in cars. As far as the BMW and Continental GT, their is no contest. The MB is far better than those two combined.
I really love that new color- designo mocha, as they call it, is really a flashback to the old, elegant tobacco brown one could order in the 1970's. Good for Mercedes for bringing a fantastic color back. And good for you for getting one! Be sure to post some pictures; it should be one of the best looking new S classes on benzworld.
