I had one problem with the listed accessories, Passion Leather should not be an available option for the S320 CDI lang, but instead the standard leather or "Leder Passion Exklusiv".
My calculation comes to some 10k euro discount from the list price, sounds high if this a German price offering. Was this price with VAT? If without VAT, then it is close to list price (difficult to estimate the cost for the paint protection from the dealer).
Passion leather is available as I have just taken delivery of a new S320 CDi long wheelbase in the UK with this spec.
My mistake, thanks for the correct info.
I just got confused with the options list, there are two rows for the passion leather because the price is different (in Europe) for the LWB from the SWB model. This again because standard leather is standard on the LWB but not on the SWB car.

Its all very strange because the Mercedes website in the UK does not let you specify Passion leather on the S320 CDi L unless the leather and wood steering wheel is also ordered. Must admit that I cannot see the link between these to options. All of this is untrue when actually sitting down with a salesman and placing the order. The website options availabilities cannot be trusted.

The German price list is usually quite accurate, I think the configurator too at www.mercedes-benz.de.
According to the price list, Passion leather is specifed only together with codes 401 & 873, Passion Exclusive only together with codes 289 & Y95.
The link with 401 is relatively simple but I agree that the Passion Leather Exclusive could go with the normal steering wheel (it does the other way around from MB too). I guess MB just wants to limit the number of combinations.
I was first considering the SWB car with fabric seats but seat memory package was only available with leather seats. I don't see a connection here either.
