Finally, My New S65!! LOOK!!
I ordered this thing quite awhile ago. It's finally here. My first impression is how amazingly quiet the car is. I have an E500, E55, G55 and GL450 too and this car is nothing like any of them. Ergonomically the car is great, everything fits so well. The dynamic seats and the new massagers in the car are incredible. They are 10 times better than the old massagers. I love the Command center and the Night View Assist is fabulous. I have 2 small kids, so being able to control all of the automatic sunshades from the front seat is awesome. After messing around with the car and driving around for a few hours I found 2 things that I am dissapointed in. 1. The car doesn't come with illuminated doors sills!! I have them on my G55 and they add so much to the car. 2. I was actually hoping the car sounded better than it did. Too me it doesn't sound like a V12, it sounds more like my E55. My G55 sounds like a fire breathing dragon when I start it.
2 VERY VERY minor dissapointments.... I guess I'll have to get by...
Anyway, it was dark when I took delivery of the car, so I had them pull it into the service bay so that I could take some pics. I also took at couple pics in front of my house in the dark and in my garage. I will post more pics tomorrow night, after I take some pics in the daylight.
This car is a 2007 S65 Black w/Beige interior. I have every option but a Designo package and Distronic Plus. The sticker was $189K and I got it for 182K.

Actually came to welcome NJ back, haven't seen you posting here for a while, been really missing your posts. And I wanted to tell one thing about your car. I cannot understand how the car can always be perfectly clean, Nevada helps but still. A couple of photos have made me stop to stare some dirt on the car, but then I've fixed that myself, wiped some dust off from my computer screen :-) A black car suits better my laptop display :-)
I'll be glad to take some of that snow for you. I want a snow day tomorrow!!
We should be getting almost 6" of snow tonight, and even more the rest of the week.
We were supposed to get a foot of snow tonight, but it looks like that storm is moving to our South. Schools here had a holiday today because of the ice and very cold weather...
