2007 S600 >> newbie , please advise
hello guys , considering a 2007 S600
any owners facing problems or call backs ?
i have reliability concerns :S
and can the top speed (155mph) restrection be removed ?
need helps guys

I think you'll be very happy with the S600. They are great driving cars. The S600's performance is awesome. I attended W221 technical training in May, and it was obvious that MB is taking the S-Class very seriously in terms of build quality. The issues I've seen in my shop have been few and far between. There were a few early vehicles missing an antenna splitter from the factory, but this was easily fixed. Aside from that they've been pretty much trouble-free.

unless you live near the autobahn 155 is all youll need and then some..trust me...

I am fairly certain that it can be removed with something like a PowerChip or other ECU modification, but like markcedes said, that would be somewhat pointless for most driving situations.

But if you pay for a car, shouldn't you get the whole car, not the light version? Bentley give you the whole thing.

No, all cars imported into the United states are electronically limited to 155 MPH. Any Mercedes, Bentley, or Ferrari for that matter....
