I've been wondering for a while; does the top half of the tail lights serve any purpose anymore?

How do you like your Cashmere interior? I have one on order and the dealer did not
have a vehicle on the lot to show the upgrade. Any pics would be appreciated.

I have the Premium leather option and I love it. Very soft and excellent stitching.

take another photo with the tailight with the brake depressed, so we can see how it lights up.

The bottom part lights up on the S-Class now for thw brake lights and the tail lights. Still wonering what the top is for. I don't even know if there's a bulb in it.

Rear fogs maybe?
