Is it just the US model that has the two fin-like antenna's ? Or is it a special option like the satelite radio or something?
Personally I don't like it that much, I mean the second one on the trunk. A bit over the top.
Reminds me of the W140 which just had a lump of plastic/metal on the trunk when satnav was introduced. We had the one without it which was much nicer including the supercool protruding antenna's when reversing [;)]
I went to a Launch party in downtown Toronto last night and they told me that only the first couple hundred models will have the dual antenna because they were unable to integrate the GPS and Radio antenna into one. However the following models will have only one antenna. So if you have one with dual, just think of it as a Limited Edition! :D

I was most shocked to find in person that the speedometer in the dash is not analog. It's a digital image that's shown. I felt like a fool. (Those pictures online tricked me all this time!)
I didnt realize it was a screen, because it's the same screen used for the NVA package. That's just crazy! One day soon the entire dash will all be digital images. But it's really neat that they combined it with an analog clock for that luxurious, old school look (aside all the new technology).

I can live with the second antenna fin.
But it's really cool how the speedometer is totally digital isn't it? What I don't get is, haven't you seen pics of the Night Vision Assist? I mean, if you have, I don't understand how you could've mistaken it for an analog one.

what are you talking about. The pics taken at my dealer are very good. And the first pics were bad, only becuz the guy was leaving, it was in Germany at night, if i put the flash on, the German guy inside would have slapped me in the face, and it was the first w221 i saw in real life. Jees AsianML. You arent happy with anything.[:(!]
