How about importing from the USA? Its only $90K in the US. Plus its closer.
Good idea but unfortunately, when you buy it in U.S., MBUSA require you to sign a contract saying you can not export the car within 12 calendar months and that includes exporting to Canada and Mexico. The dealers say that US pricing is much lower than the rest of the world.

S320 SWB 1997 (Sold)
E320 1995 (Sold)
I have been told that contract could be used as toilet paper, they cannot enfore it. After you buy the car you can do what you want. They just use that to scare people, I know people who make a living exporting benzes. Just don't try buying at the same dealership, they wont be too happy when they find out the car was exported.

yea. They do the same thing with Smart cars going into America, except, i believe it is only 3 months for the smart.
Not where i live. You can go ask for an offer. If the car is what you are looking for, just bring the appropiate downpayment and a signature on the dealers invoice. Your car will be ordered and it will arive in 4 to 6 months depending if MB has it in stock.
