Wheel Flares.........yes or no ?
Just the flares around the wheels....
Your opinions ??
IMO, I think that it makes it look like a japanese car with an aftermarket package put on it like an acura TL modded , but that is just my tastes I like the understated but VERY BEAUTIFUL and sleek nature ...very business like mercedes and price befitting . But that is just my opinion, I don't like the modern-yet-japanese-imitation design of the newer cars ,, I am more of a fan of of the older boxy style mercedes but thats just my view on it..

I don't like em, they look like they belong on a Dodge Durango.

They look OK on the darker colored S's. Somehow they call too much attention to themselves on the lighter colored ones IMHO.

Wheel flares are not nice on the Mercedes flagship image. But, AMG performance vehicle may be appropriate.....like CLK DTM AMG! [:(]

From the pictures I have seen I cannot connect with the look. I will have to wait for the real thing. The car looks front heavy...the flare does not blend into the shoulder line but contiues to the front quarter panel like a semi-circle. The jury is still out...[:)]

I like the flares on the Dodge Grand Caravan and Chrysler Town & Country.
