How many of you out there have added the 221 to your wishlist? I know my dad is in love with it ever since I showed him the pics a pew days back, but for some reason I still think the 126 & 140 were the ultimate S-classes.
I want one. And then I'll drive it in and out of the BMW new car lot everyday until the salesmen and women get frustrated and retire from the BMW business. [:D]
Who knows, maybe my little scheme will make BMW customers MB customers. [:D] Kidding. Although, I'd love to own one and see what she can do.
I think we have to wait and see what this one is like before we do or don't call it ithe ultimate. I do not want one as I have an e and have used the backseat maybe twice.

Instead of a competition package M3, try doing a search for the M3 CLS,... now that is a real track day car.
Dunno ... I'm still hugely disappointed with the BMW-style interior and the column shift, I-Drive, etc. Can't say if it will make my wish list until I drive one. But the CLS 55, now that might be up there on my list if the W221 doesn't make the cut.
