There is a new safety aspect related to that. In Germany, the mav display must be within a 30 degree field of vision from the drivers eyes. The W220 location did not meet this, so up it goes. E Class will probably have to too in the facelift version.
I will admit - big rimmed and kitted out, the thing looks damn good. But that is STILL a problem - it shouldn't have to have $10,000 - to 20,000 of after market or AMG conversion to look like something. [V]

I agree with you, if you don't like the car stock you shouldn't buy it period. These wheels and aerodynamics are meant to take a car you like and make it different from the rest, and Lorinser definetly accomplishes that.
