How much does an S500 cost to lease?

Hi,
I just got back from my local dealership and they had almost exactly what I was looking for 2003 S500 Obsidian Black/Charcoal AMG Sport Package,Keyless Go,Distronic and Parktronic. I offered them $15,000 Down Payment and $1100 per month. They said I was nuts! The best they could do was $15,000 down, and $2235 per month! I tried my best to negotiate but the dealer wouldn't budge. If this isn't personal or anything, can any of you S-Class owners tell me how much you paid for your lease? Was this dealer being unreasonable? I don't know how much an S-Class really is because this car just came into the lot and had no sticker on it. Does anyone know?
Thanks for any input!

$2350 is NUTS

$2235 is INSANE. That dealer was trying to rip you off. No possible way that he could expect that much from you.

My 02 S500 comes with ABC (near 3000 opion), Sports package, ventilated seats, Phone, CD player in trunk etc etc and etc. Sticker was $97,000 and we had the choice of leasing it for $1400 a month or buying it for $90s K.

We bought because we figure it will be with us a while and we will just make sure it is warrantied always.

Tell your dealer to take the car and do YOU KNOW WHAT with it because thats not the customer service mercedes should be giving us.

B

Very big car, with a very small engine.

Thanks for the Input!

Thanks for the input guys. Chucky300, Does your car have the 4Matic Option? Do you have any comment on the wheels that come with the Sport Package? I think they look extremely cool, we originally planned to put Brabus or Lorinser wheels on the car, but we changed our mind after looking at those wheels! You mentioned you got the Phone, does the Mercedes S500 work with the Cingular Phones? What phone service do you have?///S320, what S500's are included in the deal(4Matic,options,price,etc.)? I think it's an extremely good deal. Thanks for sharing.
My wife doesn't "need" a car now. But, it sure would be nice to have one instead of the van she is driving right now. She turned in her 2000 E55 AMG in October and she really has a tough time with the blind spots. As for me, I am more than happy with my BMW 745Li right now.
Thanks!

Don't let any damn Mercedes dealer rip you off. My 2002 S430 came at $77,780. I am now leasing it for $1131 per month for 60 months. Not the best deal but still pretty good.
