S Class Designo Pictures...

I promised myself I would wait until 05 before I got a new car but with the upgrade of the engine of the 03, I cannot wait. So, I want to order a designo edition, perhaps the dark color. Does anyone have links to pics showing this interior on a 01 or 02 model?

It looks like a blueish leather, also, no wood on the steering wheel and shift knob. Dunno, perhaps I do not know what I am talking about!

I've posted few photos of silver designo in W220 gallery as S600 folder.

Here’s what I have.
Both front doors lost “self closing� feature.
Rears are working.
After wiggling + playing + dealer talk conclusion is as follows.
Due to system not having enough electrical power, “the car� decided to disable this feature.
Rear doors are working because they have very little use.
What a “smart car�.
Now………….. where is all the electrical power?
Alas, I take very short trips, 5-7 miles one way.
It appears this is not sufficient for the system to produce what was used.
In S class something is always working, buzzing, turning, adjusting, exploring, ....
Rather confusing and annoying but it is a smart car, so they say.
Solution? Battery tender. Huh it will be nice to see S600 on IV !!!

I am getting the Expresso (Mocha) as well. Being built this month, April delivery. Do you have any pics of your wifes car?
