Can Factory Sport rims be put on a non sport 2002 s 500 w/our rolling fenders
Has anyone put the sport rims (front rim 18x8.5 tire 245 45 18 back rim 18x9.5 tire 275 40 18 dunlop sp9000) on a non sport s 500? if so is their any rubbing or do the fendes have to be rolled. Any info and experience is needed thanks s<br> <br> Steve

The S class has a large enough wheel well to support a 20x10 wheel if your car isn't lowered. So yes, you can put the amg sport 18x8.5 and 18x9.5 without rubbing.<br>

When I put the AMG 18's on my S500 the dealership charged me $150 to flair the fenders. I am not sure if this is mandatory or not but I have not had any rubbing problems.

HAHHA< That was a funny comment they told you that you needed to roll your fenders for 18" Rims.. they defintley had a Great Lunch that day... I have 18"s and my S500 is Dropped. (Double Spoke AMG rims and yes it drives and looks Mean) Your all Set .. Enjoy your new Shoes !
