i just picked up a set, anybody know whats involved with installing them? Easy/hard? Thanks.

You're in luck, my job is to install accessories. I've put a few sets of these into CLK's, but I havn't had the chance to do any 220's yet. The instructions that Benz gives you are a little confusing, but you'll get through if you take your time. Just double check everything before you drill the hole through the original sill, and plan everything out before hand. If you run into any problems, e-mail me and I'll see what I can find out for you.

I just picked up a set of these today for my SLK, and the dealer quoted me 5+ hours to install. That seemed like a lot to me. I'm going to attempt it myself tomorrow, but I know I have lots to learn! Any advice?

I just had my illuminated door sills installed on my S500 Sport. There are four of them and it took the dealer 8 hours. I saw them do it. It is extremely difficult.

I am going to have my friend install the lighted door sills this weekend, I will let you guys know how long it would take.<br> <br> Does anyone have any idea?
