I read below where it said that MB dealers cant' mark up new cars over MSRP. I heard that some dealers mark up for special cars like CL 500, S500, S600. Whats the real deal?
I guess this applies to ordered cars and not <br>
off-the-lot cars. Usually, they buy the car,<br>
register it then sell it again as used and<br>
then be allowed to jack-up prices.<br>

I think most MB dealers say that they don't mark up their cars.
However, on high demand cars like the S600, CL's etc, the dealer will put rims or other dealer installed options on the car and charge way more than the rims are worth.<br>
We ordered an S600 from a dealer and when our car comes in it will NOT have different rims or any dealer installed options, and we will pay MSRP. But, if we decide not to take the car, after it comes in, then the dealer will add-on rims to "mark up" the price another 15K and sell it to the first person willing to pay that price.<br>
Basically the dealers will find a way to get around this policy.
