New W220 Owner here to listen and learn!

All,

I recently purchase (my uncle's) 2000 S430 (with 51k miles) for 12k. He's not a big driver so for the past two years I've let him know that if he decided to upgrade I'd be glad to take this one off his hands. He finally let me have it a few day's before Thanksgiving (got this and had my first Grandchild in the same week, I was very thankful) and have since driven it for a month with no issue. I would like any tips or advice concerning my model and would be glad to do the same if possible. I'd like to extend a friendly hello and Happy New Year to all!

welcome to the forum and thats a nice ride. i have a 2000 silver s430 also. i have more miles on mine but its been a great car. had it a year now. only problems thus far are a couple oil leaks that im fixing one by one. other than that, been a great car......

Welcome to the forum Wurm!

Do yourself a favor, and read EVERYTHING written in the Encyclopedia. It will give you a lot of knowledge about W220, and if (WHEN!) you do experience a problem in the future, you will remember reading about it, and can go right back and find a solution.

This is a great forum, and a lot of knowledgeable guys come here every day. If you don't mind getting dirty, this forum will save you tons of money.
