Location of Parktronic Module

I took my car to the dealer and they told me that I need to change my Parktronic Module. They did not reveal the location of the module. I found the Module for very cheap and would like to attempt to change it myself. Can someone help please. My car is a 2004 S55

Like I said I think it's in the trunk.. that panel is super easy to get off so you should be able to check in a second.

Parktronic system (PTS) control unit (N62) is not in the trunk for W215 and W220...it is under the rear seats.

1. remove neg terminal from battery.
2. remove the rear seat cushion + connections for heaters/ventilator motors.(if any)
3. remove rear seat adjuster.
4. remove mounting plate from vehicle floor. PTS control unit is underneath.
5. remove connectors from PTS control unit
6. push PTS control unit out of guide rails and remove.

Sorry! Told you I wasn't sure.. but just the other day a MB mechanic was talking to me about my system and at first he thought it was the parktronic system and was asking about the box in the trunk and he pointed towards the area of the amp.. Guess he was clearly wrong.

Hi VOKS7780:
Got onto this chat from sometime back. You mentioned finding the Partronic Module at low cost. Would you mind sharing where and contacts to buy please?

Thanks,
Mistereq3
