I am missing the fuse chart for the 2005 S55 AMG. I recently purchased the car from Houston and I can't find the chart in the tool kit as suggested by the owner's manual. I would appreciate if someone could make a copy(s) of the fuse chart and post it. Thanks

'05 W220 Fuse Diagram

I scanned and sent you the fuse diagram for my '05 W220; it's not an S55, but for most locations I believe it will suffice.

Fuse 13 is indeed for the driver's side power window, and it is in the fuse box just in front of the firewall on the driver's (left) side, in the engine compartment. The fuse slots are numbered on the panel, once you remove the cover.

pdf files of the 2005 W220 are attached below; because my diagram is badly wrinkled, and getting it to lay flat on the scanner was impossible, some areas are not optimally focused - but I hope it helps.

If you need one, also note that the chart has a part number. You should be able to order it through your dealer. For others who may need the '05 diagrams I will not be sending these out by email again - please download the pdf files.

PLEASE NOTE: Models of the W220 from 2003-2006 have FOUR fuse panels. In those models there are two in the engine compartment, one on each side; one under the right rear seat (access is via the panel surrounding the right rear courtesy light in the floor space); and one in the dashboard (right side for LHD cars, left side for RHD cars). It is easy to miss on the diagrams - Fuses 78 through 86 are in the dashboard fuse panel, which is particularly well-hidden. Check your owner's manual and the large "vehicle" diagram on the fuse chart for locations.

Also, there is a fuse box for a 150-amp fuse supplying power to the red wires for the SAM units; it is located in the right rear quarter panel, behind the trunk lining. And there is another in the right footwell. See post #8, http://mbworld.org/forums/s-class-w220/348103-s430-issues-w220-2002-a.html for photos of each; also note the discussion in the thread. These are not the ordinary easy-to-replace fuses, and you will likely have to buy the whole box.

That is the most comprehensive Fuse chart(s) I have ever laid eyes on.

I have a 2000 S500 and my fuse layout no longer remotely follows the original layout in the manual. There are different size fuses, missing relays but so far the only issue is the Remote Trunk release. It does not work, neither does the switch on the drivers door. It is a PITA. Fuse #62 is missing, not just the fuse but the relay as well, there is nothing in the slot to attach a fuse to. I will fix that soon. Any advice.

Be sure you are using the fuse chart for your model year. If yours is missing, there are charts for the '00 in the W220 S-Class Encyclopedia (unfortunately, not as elegant as mrelbe's - but Stefan does great work). http://www.benzworld.org/forums/w220-s-class/1508080-w220-s-class-encyclopedia-start-here.html

You may need a fuse holder in order to replace fuse #62 (your chart shows there should be one). Your dealer's parts guy should have it. If that and replacing relays doesn't get the trunk lock back, the Encyclopedia also has links to address that.

AMG cars have way different fuse and relay layouts. I still haven't found a fuse diagram for my S55.. Let me know if you find one!

Fuse Chart 2000 S500 with mods and AMG sports package

Yea I know that AMG is fuax but that may have been something that added to my fuse chart dilemma so I have to add that piece of info.

The fuse layout in my S500 is nothing like anything I have seen so far. Missing relays, large Amperage differences, even some MODS with Fuse Taps.

The picture is from my Passenger Front Fuse box. The 30 amp mod is Tapped in. The other fuses are all of different AMPerages from what I have seen in Fuse Chart for S500. Is there a way to find out what each fuse does without having to pull each out. Carsoft? STAR? OBDII? Witchcraft?

Your authorized dealer should be able to order you a fuse diagram if you do not have one (they are often kept in the spare tire well, and may be wrapped around a tool - such as the screwdriver blade). The chart is a part, and it has a part number that your dealer should be able to locate. Unfortunately, the only one I have is for my own car.

Thanks Skylaw! Off to the dealer tomorrow to order a fuse diagram and several other hard to find items. Fuse Box for slot 66 so that my Auto Trunk release will work.

I have 2001 w220 S55 and need a copy of the fuse guide found in the trunk. I have several things wrong like 1) abc suspension sags in the rear after 2 days but immediately jumps back up by pushing the raise button on dash. 2) front doors and trunk do not close automatically. 3} windows will not go down or up with the key opener. 4) seat pulse works only a short time and very slow, almost not noticeable and doesn't work with abc.
I can use all the help possible on these problems.
