new to all this. i was wondering if anyone could tell me on a 2005 s500 where the fuse for the door locks are and where the pump is for the locks so i could replace it. i think the trunk is leaking or the pump is going weak. and input would help, thank you.

Welcome to the forum. A search for "PSE pump" "Soft close" and "trunk lock" will get you information on the pneumatic system, how to reset it, and where the trouble spots are. The fuse for the PSE pump is in the panel behind the right rear seat footwell light.

The door locks also have fuses - one for the central locking system and one for each lock.

You should have a fuse diagram for your car; it is usually wrapped around a tool, often the screwdriver blade, in the toolkit that sits atop your spare tire.
