? P2003 Code in 04 S500?

I recently had the 2ndary air pump replaced due to a CEL that had come on that was previously diagnosed as the 2ndary air pump failure. After 2 days of driving; the light came back.

I haven't had time to go back to the indy that did the work (be going next week) but I looked at their invoice and the code they billed it out with was a P2003? I looked that up and it looks like a code for Diesel Particulate Filter Efficiency Below Threshold Bank 2.
They had to make a mistake, right?
Car is a S500 4matic 2004.

They also did driv and pass lower ball joints and drivers side lower control arm at the same time; the car was clunking bad.... car still clunks a bit? WTH? Nothing like it did and it rides a ton smoother.. Is anything else that should be checked that would make the drivers side clunk still?

Hi SE7N30,
I had the exact same problem and replaced the air pump (expensive!), and CEL came back too. Let me know if u get it resolved, and I will do the same if I get it fixed first.

Oh I forgot, I dont think rr the pump was a mistake bc it is part of the secondary air injection system (aka, smog pump)...good luck!

Got the car back after the Indy had it a day and half - they found the code that the 2ndary air pump was correctly written up and that it was thrown again. They said they tested the pump and apparently it is pulling too much voltage again and blew another fuse. They said they ordered a new one and fixed it? We'll see if the light stays away.

As for the clunk; they pretty much tried their hardest to make me feel like i was making the noise up as they couldn't find whre it was coming from. I expressed my dissatisfaction several times about how the clunk IS NOT normal and isn't the same on the other side.
After they searched and such - took quite some time apparently - they found that not only did my lower control arm have play but the upper had a little as well? They are ordering the new upper control arm and will be putting it in when I am back in town in 2 weeks. We'll see how they explain it to the warranty company as they didn't see it before and it is a major culprit in the original issue...

Do did they replace the pump again or just the fuse? Has the code P2003 come back? Do you know if it was the fuse or the relay that was burnt?
