Hey, pascal, welcome to the forum. Please take a minute to click the User CP link and complete your profile re: vehicle and location as that is often useful information.

Did you get a check engine light when it was running funny? Was it just heavy rain or were you driving through standing water?

When you say it "won't start" do you mean you turn the key and nothing happens? Or does everything seem fine, engine cranks beautifully, but just won't start and run? If the latter, does it try to catch, maybe sputtering, or just a dead cranking?

Post back with details, details, details.

Take care and enjoy the ride,
Greg

HI greg, no check engine light, it was heavy rain, and I might have hit a little poddle of water, it won't start I turn the key the ignition light will go on, but it won't crank as if a dead battery but the ignition lights go on, all the electic in what it seems looks fine. Doesn't even try to catch, just dead cranking.

Now I'm more confused. You just said it won't crank, but then you said it wouldn't catch with dead cranking. The latter means the starter engages and starts turning the engine -- aka "cranking" -- while the former means nothing happens when you turn the key.

So please, instead of me suggesting things, you tell us what happens, in detail, when you insert the key and turn it to the start position.

Check the starter or perhaps a bad crank position sensor?

Hi Pascal ,
If you open up the hood on the passenger side, near the firewall there is a black box.
It has a checkerboard style grill on it. See if it is clogged with leaves. If it is problaay flooded out your SAM and more. We see this alot at our dealership. If it is clogged,
call your dealership and the Insurance company. It gets expensive,

I checked it, it's clean, one my friends hooked up his hand held computer to the car it gave him several code errors apparently the transmissin control module is not working properly so he cleared all the codes and the car is working fine,I don' know for how long but's working now. Any Idea if it's gonna go back to the same errors?
