Use a tow truck that is capable of lifting the rear wheels and tow it with the front wheels still on the road. The steering is locked anyway so no problem with a rear end tow.

Why wont the key turn?

UNLESS it's a 4-Matic. And, hope the steering is centered.

Point noted, i think we should wait for him to tell us why the key wont turn as it may not require towing at all

i am not sure why the key wont turn, the navi works, the key opens and closes the door the dash light turns on and car inside lights. When I try to turn the key it just wont turn. Could it be a fuse that went bad or something?

Send a message via AIM to jdwh7
maybe the wheel is locked.....try holding the steering wheel like pushing it to the right or left where is wont move but an inch and hold it there and try to turn the key, it might work then.

Do not try this manuever. The s-class was built so that there is not a gear release available using this method. If the other suggestions are not working to release the gear CALL THE DEALER OR ANOTHER MECHANIC YOU TRUST!

have you tried your second key? if the second key doesnt work, the eis is probably bad. if it starts the first key is bad.
