Schedule Maintenance 2003 S430

Fellow Members,

Do any of you know what are the schedule maintenance for 2003 S Class ? What are the things I need to change for each schedule maintenance ?

My 2003 S430 just passed 50,000 miles . What work needs to be done, and what work should be done, as far as fluids, belts, hoses etc. ?

Thanks.

The maintenance manuals for the '04 and later cars (also owner's manuals) are online on the MBUSA website, http://www.mbusa; register (free) as an owner, and log onto to the owner's online section. Select "Maintain My Benz." For more convenience on subsequent log-ins, your default vehicle will be shown and a choice of owner's manual, maintanance manual, or other things related to your specific car will be available.

The '04 will be similar to your '03, for immediate needs. If you enter your '03's info and request a maintenance manual in the owner's online section, you will be given a contact number to get one; or, you can try the dealer. Enter info as if you had a second car that's an '04, name it your default, and you'll be taken there.

Your car has a Flexible Service System, which has sensors and a computer to calculate a number of input variables, and sense contaminants in the oil.. It then makes adjustments to your service interval (usually between 10 and 13 thousand miles) and tells you whether "A"or "B" service is due next (and in how many miles, or days). See 01 S500 oil analysis report & FSS discrepancy - MBWorld.org Forums

Also, if you search the forum, you will find that others have posted the specific items to be checked at some service intervals, including what is done for "A" and "B" service.

Sorry, but Aristocrat Motors, an MB dealer, is by far the best possible place to get your car serviced. They have been selling and servicing my MBs since 1970, and I can't recommend them more highly. Their A Service is about $240 and the B is about $350, I believe. They do an Mobile 1 oil change and 27 point check for only $59.95. I usually have that done at 5k intervals between A and B Services. They have many other specials and give a 15% discount on all parts and labor if you are a member of MB Club of America. They are even having a free technical session for members next week where they will put the car up and do a drive covering all aspects of our cars. The service manager is even making ribs for lunch for us!
