Hello all

I have been reading this forum for a few weeks and have found it so informative

I purchased an 01 s500 & I love it

I did have an incident - the rear passanger shock went - it was not covered under the extended warranty - but I purchased the vehicle @ Carmax and they paid the repair (I was told @ Mercedes in Coral Gables it was a$1700 repair)

So if anyone can answer my questions I would be very appreciative

Navi CD

The dealer said there is an 07 set coming out anyone have any info re: this I was also told they'd be $100 +

Phone

How do I know if I have the V60 or Star Tac holder thing?, my panel says no phone connected so I awesome I have the feature

I think the '07 set coming out is in DVD form. The navi system went from CD to DVD in '04?...I think.

Correct me if I'm wrong, anyone, because I am not sure.

If the updates are in fact, DVD, no they won't work. But that's where I'm confused. There was a similar dilemma a few months back with the M-Class folks. I still have no idea if they make updates in CD form.
