W220 S-Class Model Guide

I have two 1998 S-Class Catalogs from Europe. The first one has 6 engines:

S300 TD - S280 - S320 - S420 - S500 and S600

S-Class Euro Catalog Dated: 02-07-1998

The next only had 3 engine listed:

S320 - S430 and S500

S-Class Euro Catalog Dated: 01-02-1998

In the 2003 Passgenger Car Range brochure there were more to choose from:

S320 CDI - S400 CDI - S350 - S350 4Matic - S430 - S430 4Matic - S500 -
S500 4Matic - S600 and the S55 AMG

The S320 CDI comes only in short wheelbase
The S600 comes only in long wheelbase

I have posted such model guide in the other forum (sedans and Coupes) other members send me some other models not listed. Mercedes Benz makes cars for different countries and different standards. If there is a model which is not in my euro catalogs, please post a reply.

The first catalog is one of the very latest W140 catalogues, that´s why it covers so many engines (the W220 was never delivered with engines like the 3-liter Turbodiesel or the 420)

The first months after the introduction of the W220, only S320, S430 and S500 were available. That´s why your other catalog only covers these three models (I believe I have the same catalog myself)

You could also get the S63 AMG and S65 AMG in addition to the models you´ve listed, as well as the 500 and 600 Pullman (separate catalogues, I guess)
