2 questions about my new 00 430

are the xenon lamps on a 00 430 standard or an option?
is the command center screen a touch screen. because it seems like it. but doesnt work on my newly purchased s430.

Xenon headlamps were optional for the S430 in 2000.

Interestingly, your COMAND monitor is not a touchscreen. Mercedes-Benz believes that touchscreens are unreliable and prone to collecting fingerprints, which can render the display unreadable in direct sunlight.
