Found a 2000 S500 with 97,000 miles. Fairly good condition and loaded. Asking $28,500. Good price or should I move on?

Gold exterior with Java leather
Sunroof
All the bells and whistles!

Dunno... trade in value of this car in excellent condition is $24,775 on Kelley Blue Book's site. KBB private party value is about $27,425 for a car in good condition with this milage. Have you seen the car in person yet?

Yeah, I checked it out but haven't driven it. He had a NADA price sheet posted on the window but it looked inflated to me. It showed the car at $34,000 retail, $28,000 trade in. I didn't believe it so I thought I'd run it by you guys to see what you thought.

I recently acquired a 2000 S500 with 54,000 miles for $30k. It had the AMG wheels, so I was hooked. Your mileage seems a tad high for the year.
