Brabus 5.8 , any experiences / info?
I figured this would be the most likely forum to get an answer on some 5.8L conversion questions. I am considering a 5.8L G-wagen.
I was wondering if anybody knows what the actual changes are. I would guess that both the bore and stroke have been changed. Do they use a new billet stroker crank? Do they use forged pistons? Do they change the cams? Is there head porting or valve size changes? Will it last?
I have an email into Brabus but haven't heard back. I wanted real world experiences anyway. Thanks for any help guys[:)]

If I remember correctly, Brabus puts sportier camshafts, special headers in stainless steel and a new exhaust system.
They also lower the suspension a bit and put on some special shock absorbers.

BrentG500,
Isn't there a Gwagen dealer that has a Brabus 5.8 currently for sale in the Northeastern United States?
Chao,
