Autocar: S-class Hybrid rumors

Autocar reports about two S-Class hybrids, using the new 3.5 liter V6 and the new 4 liter V8 diesel. The P1/2 hybrid adds two electric motors, one for stop and go driving and the second for the highway. The S350 hybrid is rumored to have the performance of the S500 combined with the fuel economy of the C200 Kompressor, while also achieving the lowest emissions in the range.

Yeah, I've heard that too. I've also heard BMW is the first automobile to come out with nitrogen fuel in their 7-series starting around year 2010. Did anyone hear such?

I've heard about hydrogen like everyone else...nitrogen though, thats a new one on me. A diesel-electric engine in an S-Class...they've been doing it in trains for years, why not for cars, in my opinion it makes total sence.[8D]
