Would you get an S55 now knowing that a new model will be out in 06?

My parents have an order in for an 04 S55 being built in March for April, but should they wait instead? They currently drive an 04 S500 but want an AMG version. What do you guys think?

I'd just ignore him. But anyway, I've got to admit money doesn't seem to be an issue for your family, so why wait? I must admit, I haven't even sat in a w220 so don't ask me for my personal experiences with an S55 AMG. However It would be wise to not get a w221 in its first year of production.

Now I'm curious, how bad was the post? At any rate, I would get more info on the W221 before I fork out $100 thou. It's your choice, I guess.

it was really bad. It was an unprovoked attack really. Language included words begining with F (certainly not gonna repeat it here) and was just filled with tremendous hate and jealousy. A serious waste of anyones time to be that devilish.

This should be a fun place.
