What are the "largest" wheel & tyre combination:-
for both front and rear of the car that can be safely fitted to the S Class without the need for wing (fender) lip modifications?

21's will fit with 245/35/21 tires. you might be able to squeeze some 22's if you go with a 255/30/22 tire.
