Scraped my Rims F#@%!!

Please help me! OK yesterday I made a turn in a parking lot and scraped my rear rim and a piece of my tire came off. The turn was very small, I only drove about 15mph,but it scraped up the outer lip about 7inches in diameter it also took a small 1/2 inch piece. Is there any place here in South Bay California that does repairs on this type of problem for around $50-$100. Will this mess up the alignment or balance on my rim and tires?? I drive an S430 with 18inch AMG rims. All the help will be greatly appreciated!!

Sadly, I believe you must buy a new rim because you cant fix cosmetics on a wheel.

These guys are in California. Would think there is someone like this in most major cities. Had then quote me on small curb rash on a AMG 220 wheel. $120 bucks with a 24 hour turn around. Thats a great price over paying $400-500 to replace the complete wheel.

Sorry to hear about your rims [:(] Check out Velvet Touch (760) 846 0942 in Carlsbad. They do mobile wheel repair work for Hoehn and MB of Escondido.
