has anyone else's central locking mechanism stopped working??
hi i have a 2001 s500 and recently when i tried to lock my car the door locks would not move at all. The lights on the car blink and everything, motioning that the car is locked but its really not locked. I have to manually lock it with the key which is very annoying! I've even tried pressing the central locking button on the center console and that wont even work, the door locks won't budge unless u push them down manually. The "open trunk lid" button on the driver side door is not operational either. Anyone have any clues? I probably have to take it back to the service center (again...sigh).
