I have a deposit on a 03 S55 with 16K miles. It has the park distance control, blinds, keyless go, V-60 phone and auto truck close. The car is Starmark certified and the dealer wants $92,500. Is this a good price our should I keep looking. They did say that they have some more room on the price.
The car is in NY and I am going to see it on Monday. The hardest thing to find on these cars is the park assist. I need this because my wife is going to be driving and she is only 5'2" and this is a BIG car for her.

I woudl look on ebay for a used CL 600. I have seen some from genuine mercedes dealerships for around the same price as the S55 you mentioned, only with less mileage (around 4k i remember). I think the 600 looks nicer and it is faster. But 92k for the awsome s55 is still an excellent deal!

If it is possible, please give me more information on this vehicle! It has everything we want except Distronic! It is also close to what my dad is willing to pay. He told me that his LIMIT is $85K, so I'm sure that some reasonable lease deal could be worked out. I really want my dad to get an S55!
You nice folks, wanting a 2003 S55, should ask the salesperson if you will have to drive the car 30 minutes every 2 days to keep the battery charged up. I have purchased new a 2003 S55 and have had it for 3 months. I have had to jump-start it 7 times and it would have been more if I were not careful to drive it every two days. The car has had the battery replaced at one dealership and I am taking it to another dealership tomorrow to see if there is possibly an electrical problem or something else that keeps the battery going down. I really love the car and the way it drives, I sure hope what that first dealer told me isn't true. Check it out or you might end up frustrated like I am with my S55.
